TBG Learning Swindon has now more than doubled the size of its team based at Minton Place on Station Road since launching in June 2011.
It has now helped close to 300 people in the Swindon area into employment with businesses across Wiltshire.
TBG Learning Swindon is delivering the Government’s Work Programme on behalf of Jobfit.
Among TBG Learning Swindon’s new recruits are personal advisors Shirley Miller and Paul Hanman, in-work supporter Robert Doig, tutor Monika Turczanska and administrators Niki Webb and Diane Kenyon.
Business manager James Manners said the 17 strong TBG Learning team is well placed to build on the success achieved and help people find employment.
“We started off with a team of seven and are now closer to 20, which demonstrates how much success we’ve enjoyed over the last year,” he said.
“All the team are able to offer tremendous resources to people of all ages looking to find employment and we’re delighted with the achievements and milestones which have been made and look forward to building on this great success.”
James said the Work Programme is a tremendous resource to help jobseekers overcome barriers that prevent them from finding and staying in work.
“It’s hugely rewarding for everyone involved with TBG Learning to see the progress made by jobseekers who sign up to the Work Programme and go on to find employment,” he added.
“Our advisors are doing a great job helping to boost confidence and skills through a mixture of advice and training, and generally giving jobseekers a push in the right direction to find employment with businesses across Wiltshire.
“We’ve built up some fantastic relationships with companies in the area and look forward to continuing to introduce them to a wealth of talent we have in Swindon.
“We’ve also just established a new relationship with Swindon College to deliver literacy, numeracy and IT courses which are City and Guilds accredited at the centre so it is very much an exciting time for TBG Learning in Swindon.”
TBG Learning is holding a free jobs fair for businesses to promote their companies and career opportunities on Wednesday, June 20 from 10am until 2pm.
